After 10 years of growth Sangharakshita declared that Triratna was ‘a nucleus of a new society' though ‘it’s only a beginning’. After a 3 year struggle the London Buddhist Centre opened as Europe's largest Buddhist centre. After a 15 year absence Sangharakshita returned and ordained the first members of the Order in India.
